Cutthroats 16 inches long!

Is ice fishing about the fish or the adventure?  From these pictures it looks like both!

The lakes are abundant and so are the fish. The native fish waiting for your hook are cutthroat, brookies, and rainbows.

You can get to the lakes by snowmobiling, cross country skiing, or snowshoeing.  When fishing in the wilderness, try snowmobiling to the boundary and then skiing in the rest of the way.  Great exercise, great fun and don't forget the Great Fish!

Fishing in the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountain lakes will take your breathe away.
