As soon as you leave the highway, you are there! Of particular note is the view from the top of Daisy and Lulu Pass, a Ghost Town on Lulu Pass and other historic ruins of the New World Mining District. The entire area of Daisy and Lulu Pass is currently part of a large reclamation project designed to restore devastation and poor water quality caused by historic mining activity. Starting the spring of 2000, there will be a large number of construction vehicles in the area. Use extreme caution and check for road closures in advance. Observe, but please do not interfere or drive in the reclamation areas.
