  • A Visitor Center staff that assists over 26,000 visitors each year and provides information on Chamber Member businesses, services and attractions in our area. 

  • We handle and respond to hundreds of phone calls and e-mails throughout the year to assist visitors and refer them to our Chamber members for their products and services.

  • Placement of your marketing materials (brochure, flyers, business cards) at the Visitor Center, inside and outside building.

  • We offer visitors a variety of information on our area, our state and the surrounding area including free maps and travel brochures.

CURRENT LOCAL ECONOMIC PROJECTS the Board is working on

  • CenturyLink internet to Silver Gate and Colter Pass meetings and continued discussion with state and local government entities.

  • Working with and participating in meetings with Park County Commissioner’s emphasizing additional meetings needed to address the community’s infrastructure needs.

  • Winter – Quiet In and Quiet Out snowmobile banners to be placed beginning November 2017.

  • Attendance to all Custer/Gallatin National Forest revision meetings.

  • Continued efforts to find solutions to reduce speed and increase safety during the summer in Cooke City, Silver Gate and Colter Pass.

  • Monitor Legislative Bills - currently 1% Resort Tax bill, Montana infrastructure bill.

EXPOSURE

  • A comprehensive, user friendly, and well maintained Chamber website

  • Your business listing FREE in up to 3 categories on the Chamber's website

  • We maintain an active Face book page to include mentioning your business.

  • We maintain a community calendar of events – list your events for FREE on the Chamber’s website.

  • We place ads in various publications throughout the region.  2016/2017 were Cody country, Red Lodge Travel Planner, Outside Bozeman (digital and magazine), USA Today - Nat Geo Wild Special Edition, Montana Quarterly and brochures placed at airports.
